After some very hot weather in London cooler temperatures have returned. We still look set to have a dry weekend leaving perfect conditions for the well watered grounds at HPC. The club team will be taking on the RAF Polo Team for the Best of Richmond Cup. After the game the Peter Pitts Trophy will see Tigerstream take on Vendetta. We hope to see you at the club enjoying the day.

Petersham Bowl Final
After a week of fantastic games Foxtrot Whisky arrived in the final alongside Belvedere Consulting. Foxtrot Whisky had been switching out their number three throughout the tournament but number 1 choice Ollie Cork had recovered from injury to take up his spot in the final. The Belvedere Consulting team headed by Kate Lindsay-Fynn and Stephen O'Kane featured professional duo Alastair Paterson and Michael Goodwill.
Foxtrot Whisky took the first half by storm with unanswered goals taking the lead to 5-0 at half time. In the second half the Belvedere Consulting team regrouped to bring themselves within two goals in the last minutes of the game. The Foxtrot Whisky team kept them at bay though maintaining their lead to take the win.

Petersham Bowl Subsidiary Final
In the subsidiary final were Vendetta and Greenforde Farm. Both were HPC teams and they had been unlucky with their performances in the group games. Both worthy of a place in the final. The teams had a point to prove and it was Vendetta with Jimmy Wood who took the game to another level taking a healthy lead over their opponents. Greenforde Farm were unlucky with a few chances going amiss which could have put them into contention. Like the final it was the first half performance in the match that won the game. Vendetta taking home the subsidiary final plate.
