As the action moves to the heart of Buenos Aires, the massive stands in Palermo fill with people from all over the world eager to see the best polo in the world. See you on the field,
Wrapping up an exciting tournament series, the USPA Arena Challenge Cup recently took place at OC Polo. Four teams came together to demonstrate incredible teamwork and creative costuming as they fought to claim the championship. In the finals, Pumpkin Spice took on Hocus Pocus in a hard fought game that came down to the last chukker. Hocus Pocus emerged the winner by a goal! Prize money was provide by the USPA Covid Relief Package with an additional $750 donated by SoCal Self Storage. The two teams represented Surf & Turf Therapy and Polo Pony Rescue. The charity of the winning team received $2,000 and the 2nd place team received $1,250.
OC Polo was honored to have Corky and Kathy Linfoot conduct a polo clinic for the Interscholastic students and club members.  Former 7 goal player, Corky is a legend both on and off the field. His achievements include winning two US Opens, training two “Horse of the Year” recipients and countless high goal victories. Kathy has been teaching riding and horsemanship since she was 14 years old.  Together they’ve coached some of the best polo teams in the country. The knowledge they shared throughout the course of the day and the accompanying polo stories made an impression that will not soon be forgotten.
